OEO HACK MEETING.

Judge, Mr J. R. Stewart; Starter, Mr A. W. Budge ; Clerk of Course, Mr A. Good ; Clefk of the Scales, Mr G. W. Rogers ; Stewards, H. Parsons, F. McGovern, A. Good, Tito, H. Wagstaff, A. F. Graham, J. Lambie, N. Shove, D. Carroll, W. D. Scott, G. W. Rogers, J. Blennerhassett, D. Chalmers ; Handicapper, Mr J. E. Henry; Hon Secretary, E. Shove. Splendid weather prevailed on Monday for the final fixture of the Oeo Racing Club, and there was a large attendance. The course, which is six furlongs round, was in fair condition and the racing was very good on the whole. The various officers of the club worked hard to make the meeting the success it was, and they are to be congratulated for the manner in which they, one and all, attended to their duties. There was, however, one unpopular verdict given by the judge (Mr -I. R. Stewart). This happened in the Oeo Handicap, Disraeli being placed first and Clayton second, but in the opinion of two-thirds of those present capable to judge Clayton won by a short head. It was a very close thing, and of course the judge, and whoever is with him in the box, should be in a better position'than anyone else to determine the winner of a race. In justice to the judge, it may be stated that a gentleman of wellknown integrity in racing matters, who was with Mr Stewart in the box, also gave it as his opinion that Disraeli had won. The following are the results :
