ACCEPTANCES due SATURDAY, 9th March, at 8 p.m. The winner of any handicap flat race after declaration of weights to carry a penalty of-71b in the Oeo Handicap. All nominations and entrances must be sealed and addressed to the Hon Secretary, Otakeho, with fees enclosed, and name, age, pedigree, color, and performances of the horse, name of the owner, and colors of the rider. Definition of a Hack.—A “ hack ” is a horse that has never won an advertised race —hack and hunter races excepted—and is not nominated at time of start, and has not during the six months previous thereto been nominated for any race—hack and hunter races excepted.
