In Adelaide the other day, owing to ihe extreme heat, the judges of the Supremo Court took off their wigs, and administered justice bare-headed. An enthusiastic Parisian lady cyclist turned out the other day with bare legs, at least instead of stockings she wore socks. She was taken in charge and hauled before a magistrate, who sentenced her to a fortnight’s imprisonment. Three xebras have now been broken into harness by Mr Walter Rothschild. He uses one in a dog-cart at Trihg, and he has driven a couple in the streets of London. The zebra, which was regarded as uutameable, has been found to answer well to the reins.
