The following letter has been received by Mr McGuire, M.H.8., from the Postmaster-General, which should be pleasing to the Awatuna residents: General Post Office, Wellington, November 29. 1895-96 Mail Service—Otakeho and Awatuna, thrice weekly. , Sir, —Adverting to previous correspondence, I have now the honor to inform ycu that a tender for.a mail service has been accepted. The Postmaster, Otakeho, will convey tbe mails.—l am, &., A. J. CADMAN, for Postmaster-General. F. McGuire, Esq., M.H.8., Hawera, Wanganui. Mr McGufre is deserving of the best thanks of the settlers for his efforts on their behalf.
