Western Queensland has had the honor of producing the heaviest recorded fat bullock in Australia. The bullock in question was bred on Monkira station, on the Diamantina (Messrs Smith, Debney and Co), and was champion at the last Eoyal Agricultural Show at Adelaide. Its live weight was 30131 b, and the dead weight 1992,
