The day was fine and the ground hard which suited the visitors. ihe match between New South Wales and the West Coast team (Grey and Hokitika combined) was played on Wednesday, and won by the visitors, wlio scored 20 points to their opponents’ 6. The score of New South Wales was made up of five tries and a goal from a try. West Coast scored two tries.
