TII E I>e LAVAL “ ALPHA” OREAM gEPARATORS. Hand Power, Horse Power, Steam Power, or Water Power. Every Dairy Should Have One. Saves its Cost in Four Months. Farmers Without “ ALPHA ” Separators Throw Away about OneThird of the Income from their Cows. The advantages of the De Laval “ Alpha ” Separator are as follows : The Cream can be separated from the Milk immediately after it has been taken from the Cow. Morning and evening’s milk should not be mixed. About one-third more, and better Butter, of higher market value than can be obtained from the ordinary method of setting in shallow pans. The De Laval “ Alpha,” if substituted for any other separator, will pay its own cost in Six Months, out of extra butter fat saved. Great Saving in space, time, labor, and the number of utensils used. Cream and skim milk perfectly sweet, and both saleable when near towns; in the country the latter forms the best of all Food for Pigs and Calves. The absence of the cream is imperceptible to ordinary taste. The construction of the Machine is extremely simple, and requires no mechanical knowledge to keep in proper working order. It is easily cleaned. The setting'up for work requires a solid and level foundation, but not massive or expensive. Requires small driving power, and never wears out. Single or double horse-gears already in use may be connected at little expense for the power machines. When not separating, the steam or horse power can be used for churning, chaff-cutting, pumping, driving circular saws, Ac., Ac. Note. —We are prepared to prove that De Laval’s “Alpha” Machines Skim Cleaner, are Cheaper in proportion to Milk put through, require less power to drive, and Wear Longer than any other Separator yet made.
