NOTICE is hereby given that this Board proposes:— 1. To form and metal the Kahui East Road from the South Road to a point 10 chains along the frontage of Section ■ 4, Block XV., Cape Survey District, and also to fall and stump the said road from'the end of present falling to the Forest Reserve. 2. To borrow for such purpose the sum of £IBOO under 44 The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act 1886,” to pay out of such loan the cost of raising it. 8. To strike as security a Special Rate of 4£d in the £ on all rateable property within the district hereinafter described. 4. To constitute the Kahui East Special Rating District, and to comprise the following land, viz., Sub-sections 1,2, 3,4, sof Section 118, Subsection 1,2, of Section 128 and Section 121, Block 1., and Sections 18, 19, 20, 28, 24, 25, 26, 86, 87, 88, 89, 40, 41, Block 11., and Sections 8,4, 5,7, Block 111., Opunake Survey District, and Sections 1,2, 8,4, 5, 18, 19, 20, 21, 17, 28, 24, 25, 26, 27, Block XIV., and Sections 4,5, Block XV., Cape Survey District, and all the unoccupied lands abutting on either side of the Kahui East Road between the South Road and the Forest Reserve.
