The return match, Ake Ake second v. Parihaka, was played at Eahotu on Saturday last, and was keenly contested. The home team won the toss and took the wind, and made good use of it, scoring two tries before time was called, iho game then standing; Ake Ake, 6 loints; Parihaka, nil, In the second spell Parihaka scored two tries and Ake Ake one,'which the latter converted into a goal. The home team thus won by 11 points to 0. For Ake Ake Hill scored two tries and Young cne. while Weihi and Kupi scored one each lb» Parihaka. The Ake Ake team will play Waimate to-morrow at Opuuake, and will be represented by the following:— Full back, Walford; three-quarters, Hill, Simeon, and Young; halves, Tuhikaka, Wills, and West; forwards, AVagstaff, Weihi, Bradley, Malcolm, Lusk, Oxenham, J. Young, and Titiro. The natives are practising hakas, war dauces, and songs to give an entertainment here in the Eahotu Hall shortly. -
