(TO THE EDITOR.) g m> —As there are native lands advertised about this district, can you or the Public Trustee inform in tending lessees if section 54 of the West Coast Settlement Reserve Act is inoperative, as it says : " Every lessee shall, within six months, reside on some portion of the land, and shall continue to do so for a period of six years."
