ATLANTIC HORROR SINKING EVACUEE SHIP “BRAZEN BRITISH LIE” (News by Cable.) BERLIN, Sept. 23. It is officially denied that Germany is responsible for sinking theBritish child evacuee ship as a result of which 80 children lost their lives out of 300 persons) who perished. It is stated that no German üboat or aeroplane is operating 600 miles from the British coast. “The Germans attack only armed merchantmen. That is our answer to the Brit.sh report which is a brazen lid for squeezing the tear glands of the world and contributing towards bringing the United States into the war on the British side.”
