TENNIS BALL.
The nrs||J)|U held on -t^^-'^^^M^' raise funds for the Oxford Teruns Clutf: ' In spite of it being a rainy night the East Oxford Hall was well filled. A splendid supper provided by the members was done well justice to, and the music was supplied by Miss Paget. A number of strangers were there, and many pretty dresses worn, the most striking being Miss Davey, m a beautiful cream dress, artistically trimmed with black jet. Miss W. F. Pearson m a handsome black surali silk, Mrs Henderson m black and pink, Mrs Leahy m cream profusely trimmed with green satin, Miss Budge blue skirt, black velvet braiding, Mrs John Parkinson m black jet, Miss Parish cream, Miss Davies hicitrope, Miss Wotherspoon a pretty pink dress veiled with black lace, large pink silk sleeves and chiffon on the bodice, Miss Prichard cream with lovely art green moire sleeves, Mrs Rogers black and gold. We hope it will be as financially successful as it was m every other way.
