Many of us consider it an insult to solicit a contributio"h frpm ( him for racing purposes., I wonder what the racing Committee would have said of Mr Meredith if he had asked them for a contribution to help build a Church or Sunday School. It is quite useless Madam to endeavour to injure Mr Meredith in the opinion of his friends by such a tinpot (no joke intended) device as the present one. I am Madam Yours Truly CONSISTENT.
