SILVER WEDDING.
We have to congratulate Mr and Mrs Piirves of the Woodstock Village I Settlement upon their having attained the Tweaty fifth anniversary of their wedding day, and we join our best wishes, with their many friends who offer their congratulations with earnest desire- for their future welfare on this auspicious occasion. The day was delightfully fine and coupled with the family gathering, a good many friends arrived early m the afternoon, and a most enjoyable afternoon an?l eveniDg were spent m feasting and reccunting old remiscencas. The pledge of their love the little metal ring, the golden fetter which the women love so well, had worn much thinner m the space of a quarter of a century, and so the children very appropriately presented their mother with a new one, accompanied by the wish that she may live to wear it out. The worthy couple were also the recipients of presents from several of their old friends, which they appreciate at their due value.
