An adjourned ordinary meeting of the Board was held on same day at 11.30. Mr J. O'Halloran ( chairman ) and all members were present at both meetings. ■ • • The Boards JEngineer reported that , no change had taken place at Brown's Eoc"k,£ither m nthe volumne of the "water' or the direction of the stream for three years.- :•••. ■■ .: .. . Eesolved that it is satisfactory -to theßoardi'to- bave-ihe above- assurance' of"' their ■/that 1 "' no change had taken place since when he had entered the Boards service. On Friday the 14th inst Mr Gordon Chief Mining Engineer with the Board and Engineer, visited Browns Bock and found matters exactly the same as regards volumne and ' trend of stream as when Mr Gordon recbrnrriended ; the intake. ' <.< . ; .._ The Engineers report m connection with required works was read and approved. Eesolved that tenders be called for alterations and repairs to the Orange Hall which has lately, been purchased for the purpose of using as the Board's office. • That tenders be invited for the necessary fencing from Brown's Rock to the River Eyre and also tenders for excavating the Main channel of Brown's Eock Race. . After discussing and transacting routine business the meeting terminated.
