FOUR POWERFUL THINGS.
In this age the minds of many 1 men are turned upon money m its many different shapes. There are thfe Bimetalists who say that there is" not enough gold m the world to carry on the finances of the world ; and sd they advocate two standards instead of one. There is another school who want the Slate to issue paper upon the securities of the. people. : National .State Bank would only lead to State slavery and the death of all individualism, by the people becoming dependent "upon the State.for everything, thave asked many people the question ; which is the greatest or most powerful of there four things ? Gold, Silver, Paper or Labour and m every case the answer has been Gold. How can that, possibly be, when without labour the gold^ would still be resting m the earth or rockcrevice. For the labour of man has removed it and weighed it. Yet by its weight are all men's labour governed and measured.
