HUNTING.
A meeting of members of the Oxford Hunt Club was held at Pagets Commercial Hotetyn Saturday 21st. Mr W. J. Bassett was voted to the chair after reading minutes of the last seasons meetings and receiving Treasurers report showing a credit balance, it was I proposed and carried that both reports be passed. The election of officers for the coming season then ensued with the following result:-— . Chairman and. Sect. Mr W. Bassett Treasurer Mr W. Gilchrist Committee Messrs A. Henderson, J. Mc'Grath, J. Mounsey, R. Henderson, F. Crowe, P. Wright, W. Scott, L. Powell, El Restori, R/ J. Gilchrist, H. Lures, J. Parlane. It was resolved that the Secretary write to the Master of Hounds and arrange for a days hunting in this district, for about the middle of May, also for one day in June, and one in July, and that members only be allowed to follow, it being the intention of the club to strictly enforce the latter owing to the damage that was done last season to fences. This being all the business a vote of thanks to the chairman closed the meeting.
