W AIMAK ARIRI- ASHLEY WATER BOARD ELECTION MANIFESTO. In response to your numerously signed requisitions, we agree to contest tbe election. The task we undertake is arduous and difficult. We offer ourselves as candidates for the above board at the forthcoming election. We are determined to get water for the whole district, and believe that drinking water can be supplied for the whole district at a trifling cost compared with the present scheme, asin the counties of Selwyn and Ashburton and we are confident such a supply will meet the wishes of every ratepayer in the district, -and, v will also meet the approval and support of the Government. On these grounds we ask the ratepayers to unanimously support us. . Yours faithfully Samuel Heywood. Marmaduke Dixon. John O'Halloran.
