ST ANDREW'S CHURCH.
The Annual Easter meeting of the members of this Church, was held in the Church Schoolroom, on the evening of Thursday sth Dr Volckinan, parishioner's warden being unavoidably absent, the discussion of financial matters was postponed till a future meeting. The resignation of Miss Parish was received with much regret, accompanied on the part of all present, with many expressions of regard to her, and ' of good wishes for her future happiness. On the motion oi Mr Hawker, Mr Garbett was asked to convey to Miss Parish by letter, the sentiment towards her, of the Vestry of St Andrew's Church. Mr Garbett next announced that he had offered the vacant post to Miss L. Parish, and that she had accepted it. Hearty votes of thanks were passed to the Church workers of the past year. To Mr Hawker for his services as Lay Reader. To the organists, choir masters and choirs of the several Churches in the district, at East and West Oxford, Carlton and View Hill. To the Superintendants and teachers of the Sunday Schools, and to the ladies of St Andrews guild. The meeting then adjourned till the following Thursday at the same time and place.
