OXFORD ROAD BOARD.
This Board held their ordinary meeting on the 4th, inst. Mr A. Wright ( Chairman) ard all members being present. Minutes of last meeting were read and confirmed. Clerks report was considered and approved. The Ratepayers meeting was fixed for May 2nd. at 12 Inoon and the election of the new Board on the 3 rd. The nomination will take place on the 26th April. Annual meeting of Board at 10 O'clock on 2 nd May, ordinary meeting of Board at 2 p. m. same date. . Correspondence— Prom Board of Education setting forth that they had decided to form an Education District at Woodstock and asking this Boardto sanction the use of Reserve 1877 for that purpose— Board will consent to their occupying 2 acres. Prom Mrs Gill informing the Board that the culvert at the head of Bay road had fallen m. Clerk to report. Prom Ashley Board, re the completion of Ashley Gorge Bridge and' requesting this Board to pay their share of the expenses (viz) £41 13s Od. Reed. Prom Bowron Bros asking for duplicate of rate notices referring to the property of Mathew Baxter deceasedreceived. Re Thompson's Road' Mr Meredith to be written to asking his consent to deviation through his View Bill property. No 478 The following tenders were accepted J Whyte— Carting boulders 1/9^ per yard. No 480 r Jas. Dally 1/10 per yard for quarrying and carting rock from Griffith's. No 480; J. Doidge carting boulders at 1/4 per yard.. 482. — ' - -'Z .'Z ' Jas. Whyte "carting boulders 1/7Jper yard. No. 483. G. Dwrant £3 15s Od clearing. Depot Rbrd. No 485. J. Burrows —Painting Pound Outage £6 15s Od. .-•&■■ Accounts to the amount of £80 16s 3d, were passed for payment' arwS the Board adjourned.
