AVIATION COMEDY.
A young German infantry lioutenair: was taking part in aeroplane scouting practice on the Itusso-Gerraau fronti: recently, when a slight fog arose. A few minutes later the rattle of must-1 try and a hole in the wing of hi* machine showed that he had been" copied by the Russian sentinels. The lieutenant thought it advisable to decend, and had '' a very friend h reception from the Russian captain who regretted that he was unable to settle the affair himself, and must take the aviator and his machine to head-quarters, 20 miles away. There being no railway, the lieutenant proposed that the Russian captain should accompany him there on his machine. The Russian captain consented. Both officers set off after a aordial luncheon party, but, in con sequence of a defective motor, the lieutenant was compelled to make a premature descent. ; To the equal surprise of both officers, the park in which they had landed was German soil. Consequently, the cables were turned, and the lieutenant had io take the captain as his prisoner.
