An elderly man, by the name of Thomas May, ,was arrested at tY^gf* Gold Extraction Co.'s works at Paeroa by Constable Dyer about 4 p.m. yesterday, on a serious charge. He was brought before. Messrs F. E. Flatt and P. Brenan, Js.P., and on the application of the police, was remanded for a week. No bail was allowed.
