The Thames County Council desires to purchase about two miles (single line) of light new or secondhand steel rails. A reward is offered for the recovery of a brown retriever pup which has been lost. There is advertised for sale 80 to 110 lb of good dairy-fed pork, at 7%d lb. * Gas consumers should take note that to-morrow, 14th inst., is the last discount day. The Hikutaia Stock Sale is adivertised to take place on Tuesday next. There are entered for disposal 200 head of cattle, 48 calves, and 300 sheep. Early entries are solicited.
