CENTRAL PICTURE THEATRE
TO-MORROW—SATURDAY.
Another beautiful double feature programme will be: screened at the Central Theatre to-morrow night. The first star feature is taken from one of Charles Dickens' most wonderful works "Oliver Twist," with Marie Doro in the leading role. This immense feature play thrills every fibre of your being. It is the most incredible experiment on real life that has ever been tried on the screen.
The second big feature is a Red Feather Photo-play, entitled "Susan's Gentleman," in which the prominent actress Vilolet Mersereau takes the leading role. "The daughter of an. English nobleman, who of course has a big estate, elopes to America with the handsome groom. The groom is a drunkard. His wife dies when Susan is born. Next we see Susan as a child of the tenements. She is an avid reader of one. of those paperdovered novels and always puts herself in the heroine's place. The nephew of a nobleman, who was once a suitor of the English girl, is forced to flee to America and, by rare chance becomes a roomer in Susan's fiat. Of course he is "Susan's gentleman," and in the end they return to England and everything is straightened out to the "andi they lived happily ever after."
Also a /big supporting programme, including comeidies and travelogues.
Next Wednesday "The World's sweetheart," 'Mary Piekford. will ba screened- at the Central Theatre. Don't miss her in "Less Than The Dust." Come early.
