Servian Defence.
ALLIES SEND MORE MEN.
It is reported that the Allies have asked the Servians to resist for five more days, when effective help will be forthcoming. The Allies have been successful against the Bulgarians in the north and south in the northeast corner of Servia, which the Cermaris and Bulgarians are attempting to force to effect a junction.
The French and Servians are reported to have broken the Bulgarian flank-at Krivelj, which is 40 miles north west of the Bulgarian fortress of Vidih. ■
In the Southwest of Bulgaria, near Strumuitza, the Bulgarians are falling
back. They are pressing strongly towards Kniazhevatz, a town northeast
of Nish, near the Bug frontier.
Three additional enemy battalions have crossed the Danube in the northeast of Servia, close to the Rdu-
manian frontier.
