Burgess, Warden, presided at the sitting ol the Warden's Court at Paeroa yesterday, when applications were granted as follows :—Rising Sun G.M,Co., surrender, of Rising Sun Extended.special claim ; tU. E. Johnson, surrender of residence site, Karangahake ; T. Morgan, residence site at Karangahake; VV. Spry, surrender of residence site at Komata ; John Trense, surrender of residence site at Karangahake ; P. Ryan, surrender of residence site at Komata, , The applications of Arthur E. Sugden for the Jewel No. 1 and Jewel No. 2 special claims at RQtokohu were forwarded to the Minister for his consent. These claims were formerly known as the Saxon No. 1 and Saxon No. 2 special claims.
