BRADFORD MEMORIAL.

THE UNVEILING CEREMONY. TO-MOREOW'S PEOGEAMME. » The .arrangements in connection with the unveiling of the Bradford Memorial Fountain t>morrow are as follows:— The Battalion Band wi?l leave i Thames by special coach at 12 noon to-morrow, arriving in Paeroa a^out 2.30 p.m. The volunteers will parade at the Eailway Station at 2.30 p.m., and, headed by the band, will march to the top of Kakaipo Hill, picking up the school cadets at the corner of the Bank of New Zealand. ■ The volunteers and^cadets will! form a line to keep an open spaced round the fountain for the Premier and his party, and the members of the County Council. On the arrival of the Premier the* ceremony will be at once proceeded with, the only speech on the occasion being that of the Premier. • Any one taking an interest in the matter or desiring to be present may attend the ceremony, and as it is a public one and on behalf of the public. No special invitations have been issued. It is hoped there will be a good attendance of residents, as the unvieling of the fountain not only commemorates one who was a respected resident cf the district, but also marks the completion of the first step towards forming and beautifying a public domain for Paeroa. As the weather is unsettled, it may interfere with the proposed programme to be played by the band on Sunday afternoon, and as many are desirous of hearing this fine band, it having been arranged that a promenade concert' by the Band be held in the Drill Shed on Saturday night at 8 p.m. The admission is £xed at the small sum of- sixpence, to help to defray the expenses incidental to the opening ceremony.
