SUBSCRIPTION LIST.
We understand a subscription list j in aid of the'British, killed or wounded j during the present war has been forwarded by the Mayor of Auckland to the Headmaster of the Paeroa School. As this has received the official sanction of the Board of Edu- !■ cation and the Paeroa School oom-( mittee, subscriptions may be paid to \ any member of the School Committee, I or any of the teachers. As the sub- j scription is chiefly intended to evoke" a S feeling of national sympathy amongst ■ our young folk, subscriptions down to one penny will be received.
