Locality .of -the race and its startin and terminal points: Kaiangahake; commencing at a point on the Ohinemuri River marked by a post marked W.W.E., about 40 chains above the applicant company's present dam, and terminating at a point, marked by post marked W.W.E., at the head of the said company's present water-race on tlie same river. Proposed term of license : 42 years. Length and intended course of race : The length of such extension of race is 40 chains or thereabouts, and its intended course is along the southern bank of tlie Ohinomuri River. Estimate time and cost of construction: One year; £2,500. ■ , Mean depth and breadth : Watjsr to be conveyed .through- pipes similar: to. those already in. use in constructed race. . Number of heads to be diTerted : Ten heads, each, under 218 and 219. Purpose for wMclrwater is to be used :: ; To-drive applicant company's mill at Karangahake, and for battery purposes.
