PAEROA FIRE BEIGADE

(To the Editor.) Sir,—l notice that in last Saturday's Gazette Property Owner complains beeaus» Mr O'Hara has been removed from the captaincy, of the Paeroa Fire Brigade. Why he should do so I do aot know, unless ho has some personal feeling in the matter. The chaage was made, I believe, in a fair and opes. Manner, and as the matter of •lectiaj a captain lies wholly with fcke members of the brigade, I do nSt se» what complaint Property , Owner or anyone else can have. The members of the brigade evidently elected +he man they thought best suited to the position, and I fancy time will show they havo made no mistake.—l am, etc., Property Owner No. 2.
