Locality of the race and its start.in and terminal points: Kaiangahake; comniencin g at a point on the Ohinemuri River marked by a post markediW.W.R., about 40 chains above the applicant company's present dam, and terminating at a point marked by post marked W.W.R., at the head of the said company's present water-race on the same river. Proposed term of license : 42 years. Length and intended course of race: The length of such extension of race is 40 chains or thereabouts, and its intended course is along the southern bank of the Ohinemuri River. Estimate time and cost of construction: One year ; £2,500. Mean depth and breadth : Water to be conveyed through pipes similar to those already in use in constructed race. Number of heads to be diverted : Ten heads, each under 218 and 219. Purpose for which water is to be used : To drive applicant company's mill at Karangahake, and for battery purposes. The water authorised to be diverted by •aid Licenses Nos. 218 and 219 to be run through the same pipes as will convey water authorised to be diverted by Water-race License No. 8247.
