At the meeting of the Auckland Liberal Association on Monday evening last, it was agreed to adopt the platform submitted by the Premier inv 5 Wellington recently, The Association has also added the following to the platform:— . The establishment of workmen's homes on line of railway or trams near Auckland. ~ Agricultural College for Auckland. 1 Old. Age Pension Act made a per- *• manency. • Eailway communication with Wei-' lington to be completed at an early date. Auckland to be the port of call for the San Francisco mail, with improved service. A. Board of Appeal for gaol and.. asylum warders, and for the police -t force. . • Extension of the Advances to Set- - tiers Act to town and suburban lands f Eight : hours to be made a legal day's work where practicable. A loyal support to the present Government. ! '
