NEW ZEALAND'S OFFER.
SERVICES OF TUTANEKAI
ACCEPTED.
TEOOPS NOT REQUIRED.
The Premier-on Sunday evening received a reply through, his Excellency the. Governor to the communication sent to the Imperial Government offering the services of the volunteers and Permanent Artillery, as Veil as the Government steamer Tutanekai, should their services be required to suppress the present disturbance in Samoa. Her Majesty's Government highly appreciates the offer, and while gladly accepting the services of the Tutanekai, which will doubtless soon be required for despatch o2 messages and stores to .Samoa, intimate to the New Zealand Government that the services of the volunteers and permanent artillery will not bo required. Mr Seddon has arranged that the Tutanekai will keop her usual trips between Wellington and the North but, at the saniO/tmie, be in close touch with telegraphic communication, in order to proceed to Samoa whenever necessity should arise,
