TAKE NOTICE that, pursuant to " The Mining; Act, 1898," aud regulations thereunder," I, JOHN EDWIN BANKS, of Thames, Mining Agent, have duly marked out the piece of land described in thf> Schedule hereto (rough sketch-plan whereof is lodged herewith), and intend to make application for the issue to me of a Liocnse in respect thereof for a Special Claim, particulars wliereof arts sot forth in the said Schedule. And I hereby dedans as follows.:— (a) That all conditions precedent to the grant of the application have happened or been duly complied with. (n) That the grant of the application will not prejudicially affect the rights of any other person. (c) That I verily believe I am entitled to the grant of the. application. (d) That I desire the License to be for a term of 42 years, but so nevertheless as to expire on the 31st day of December. The addi'ess for service is care of Miller & Pokkitt, Paeroa.
