At a meeting of the Paeroa C ub on Wednesday evening, a motion of which notice had been given was moved to.'rescind a motion passed at a previous meeting, instructing tho club's delegates to the Ohinemuri Union to vote for affiliation with the Thames Union. After considerable discussion, the motion was carried, and it was subsequently moved and cariied that the club's delegates be instructed to vote for affiliation with the Auckland Rugby Union. The Cup matches at the Thames commence to-day..

Karangahake and Waiteka'uri. play at Mackaytown this afternoon. It was decided at the meeting of the Paeroa Club on Wednesday evening to hold a tournament —7 men a side— at an early date, for trophies presented to the club by Mr Short.
