FOOTBALL.
A. scratch match was played last Saturday been the Paeroa and Junction Mill footballers. The game, "which was played in two 15 minutes spells, resulted in an easy win for the former side by about a dozen tries. A match wiil be played next Saturday between the City North II t(Thames) and the Paeroa 11. On August 6th a team of footballers from this discrict intend visiting the Thames to play the City South Football CHub. The Paeroa Football Club intend Shaving a grand ball about the beginning of September.
