: 'Silvertott. —Ab.*ut 4 feet of the reef ■vis being stripped for treatment, giving r> good disfh prospects. 30 feet have been --'driven by two men during the past 14 "days. Beside the large tonnage at the '■battery, there are 100 tons on hand at '"-the mine;" ' Grand"Jcnci'-o-v. —Mr'J. W. Walker -proceeds to England in a few months <and will place this mine on the English •market. The shaft-is down about 80 • 'feet and the'-e is scaicely a doubt but that the Waihi reef will be raet with. The returns fiom the Waihi G.M. ■'Co. for the past month amount to £4807. ! Three 'days short of a month were run.
