The largest deal in'property'that has taken place in the Bay of Plenty 'district for years has just been completed in Opotiki, by Mr 5. A. Clark, land ■agent, and agent of the Public Trustee at Tauranga, under the will of the late Mr Isaac Walker^v of which the Public Trustee is executor. The Rothwell farm, about three miles from the wharf, with all live and dead stock, has been sold to Mr S.'."N. Westney, ~of tfcefjWdkato, The farm comprises; 1,728 acres of land + over two thousand sheePj and;ai<quant'ity of cattle, horses, etc. The property is one of the finest about Qpotiki, and Mr Westney, after mspectingTthe property., expressed himself highly pleased with the purchase. The price given for the whole is somewhere between five and six thousand pounds.
