NEW ELECTORAL DIVISIONS.

We call the following description of the new electoral boundaries so far /as it applies to this district, from a recent "Chuette": ■-""

BAY OP PLENTY.

Hiia district is bounded towards the aorth-east and north-west by the oceau from tbo north head of Tairua Harbour to Cape Runaway ; thence towards the ■east by a right line to the Bummit of Mount Hikurangi; thence towards the sonth-east by right lines from hill to bill along the stiminit of. the watershed between the Biy of Plenty and the eAst •coast to Trig. Station No* 139 a; thence by a right line ever Trig. Station No. 140 to the Motu River; thence by the sight bank of the said JUotu River to, tte north-western boundary-line of th« ~l Motu Block; tnenie by that, block to its western-most corner at the Koranga Kiver:; thenoe again towards the northeast by the right bank of the" paid Koranga River to its source; thence by a light line to Maungitapere Trig. -'."/Station; thence again towards the . iouth-east by a right line to Manngapohatu; thence again towards the northeast by a right line to Trig. Station No. l 93 (Matakapia); thence again towards the southeast by a right line to the most northerly point of Waikaremoana j thence by a right line drawn in the direction of the junction of the Rangitaiki River with the main road Ifrom

Napier to Taupo, till it meets a right 1 line joining the summits of Tatars kino (Tr;g. Station No. 69) and Taw.biwhau (Trig. Station No. 76a) Mountains; thence towards'the south-west generally ' by the Wsikato Electoral District; and towards the north-west ai.d noMh genprally by the Thames Electoral District, ;to the place of commencemeut; in•oluding Motiti Island.

The above district includes the whole of the Ohinemuri County with the exCeption oi the Waitoa Kiding.
