Sir, — As we 'are approaching the autumn and winter season, when the) nights are long and amusements scarce, would ib not be a gooJ thing for tho oace so highly successful Mutual InaprovemeDt Class to be re-organized and revised ? Some five years ago this class was of great benefit and assistance tQ not only the younger members, bat the older. It might have the effect of weaning some of " onr boys " for their growingJoye.of small beers and lounging about,, I commend the ide* to our worthy ichoolraaster and the school committee, and I believe if a meeting were called it would be well attended, and lhe matter taken up with enthusiasm.—Yours etc. _ A Father or Bot§»
