Mild Near Coast The official weather forecast, issued by the Government Meteorologist in Wellington, is:— • Situation.—An anti-cyclone centred to the north-east covers New Zea- .* land. Forecast to Midnight.—Light to moderate north-east winds, fresh at times near the coast. Fair to fine and very warm inland; mild near the coast with some local cloudy area. Weather In Dunedin. —The weather was again very hot in yesterday and a maximum temperature of *72.3 degrees was recorded. The sun shone for 12hr 36min and the thermometer did, not drop below 36.2 degrees. The wind was from the south and no rain fell.
