OFFER TO YUGOSLAVIA
British Loan To Buy Raw Materials LONDON, Dec. 21. Britain today offered Yugoslavia a further £2,000,000 loan for expenditure on raw materials. The Under-secre-tary for Foreign Affairs, Mr Ernest Davies, made the new offer to the Yugoslav Ambassador, Mr Joseph Brilej. at the Foreign Office.
The British Government gave Yugoslavia a £3,000,000 loan last month. Recent British aid to Yugoslavia has been designed to help the country in the crisis caused by severe drought.
