The Hororata Racing Club has been favoured with good fields for its meeting. The double will be on the H. A. Knight Memorial Handicap and the Derrett Hack Handicap. The following horses will be bracketed on the totalisator:—Coalgate Trot Handicap: Aggressor and Olga Dale, Fleetmaster and Heather Brigade. H. A. Knight Memorial Handicap: Robinfaye and Trident, Royal Tan and Robin Dayes. Trial Plate: Master Bobs and Ruth’s Praise. Selwyn Trot Handicap: Imperial Trust and Arbitrate. Horses who should race prominently are : 11.30: Novice Stakes.—Royal Saleve, Winning Dancer, Sunda. 12.15: Hororata High-weight Handicap.— Kirkella, Bren Gun, Open Range. 1 p.m.: Coalgate Trot.—Venetian, First Mate, Prince Charming. 1.45: H. A. Knight Memorial Handicap.— Great Way, Te Kooti, Magical. 2.30: Trial Plate.—Escalado, Full Tilt, Falsa Dawn. 3.15: L. Derrett Hack Handicap.—Lady Guillotine, Beau Soir, Philmarch. 4 p.m.: Sandown Handicap.—Entrancing, Dissenter, Spinning Lady. 4.45: Selwyn Trot.—Dealer’s Choice, Riviera, Scott Junior.
