By the Sporting Editor

The Beaumont Racing Club which previously raced on Easter Saturday and Monday, will hold its meeting this season, tomorrow and on Monday, and it will be interesting to see the effect of the change. The fields in some cases border on the small side,.but the card generally is a good one, with variety lent to it by the inclusion of two trotting events. The track is in splendid order and the going will be fast. Horses selected for their engagements are:— Noon: Steward’s Handicap.—Red Pickle, Glenlivet, White Robe. 12.45 Trial Handicap.—Lilting, Royal Spanish, Scuttle bracket. 1.30: Tuapeka Trot.—Amarant, Cubit, Dark Hour bracket. 2.15: Wetherstones Handicap.—Flying Trixie, Gay John, Faustina. 2.55: Summer Merry Lancer, Benevolus. 3.40: High-weight Handicap.—Munlockie, Don’t Listen, Fine Art. 4.25: Presidents’ Trot.—Clinker Hall, Amarant, Plausible bracket. 5.10: Wood Memorial Handicap.—Nan, Golden Wonder, Cricket Field.
