BEAUTY TREATMENTS
Day-by-day Routine Beauty care could, with advantage, follow the good old rules for keeping a house tidy and clean. Each day the routine care could be provided, and on separate days of the week extra treatments could be given to hair, figure, or hands and nails. Morning and evening routine for the complexion, comprising cleansing, toning and nourishing and a good session with the hair brush, should follow on . as habitually as cleaning the.teeth; but each day a little time should be kept for something more. Monday night could be devoted to hands and nails. Rub in some good cream, wipe off and then wash with a bland soap. Soak the fingertips in oil for a few minutes before giving yourself a careful manicure. Massage the hands well from the fingers up towards the wrist with a nourishing cream and leave on all night. On Tuesday night, or the night before you have a shampoo, give extra attention to your hair. Vigorous massage with a good hair tonic or an oil reconditioning treatment can be applied at home. If you wash your own hair, do it on Wednesday night. Give also a little attention to your figure, doing exercises or skipping if you do not get any exercise during the week. Finish off with a slimming bath—lib of Epsom salts in the hot water and vigorous scrubbing and towelling. On Thursday, try a home facial treatment, and on Friday give yourself a pedicure.
