Substantial Increase In Values Prices at the sheepskin sale held on Wednesday by the Dunedin Stock Agents and Woolbrokers’ Association showed an average increase on all grades of 8d per lb on the last sale held on November 7. Three-quarter to full-wool merino sound, realised to 97d per lb, while fullwool fine halfbred, sound, increased from 82} to 953 d per lb. Offerings totalled 15,623 skins, and the demand for all grades was keen. Quotations: — Merino: Three-quarter to full-wool, sound, 92d to 97d; three-quarter to fullwool, dead and damaged, 943 d to 963 d Halfbred: Threequarter to full-wool, sound, to 953 d; three-quarter to full-wool, second pelt, to 90d: three-quarter to fullwool, dead and damaged, to 88d. Crossbred: Three-quarter to full-wool, sound. 783 d to 83d; three-quarter to full-wool, second pelt, 753 c! to 82d; three-quarter to full-wool, dead and damaged, 74d to 793 d. Half-wool, halfbred: Sound, to 85<i second pelt, to 81d; dead and damaged, to 81c!. Half-wool crossbred: Sound, to 76}d; second pelt, to 73Jd; dead and damaged, to 713 d.
