Cloudy Near Coast
The official weather forecast issued by the Government Meteorologist in Wellington is:— Situation.—A high pressure ridge lies across the South Island, and • a deep depression is centred west of the North Island. Forecast to Midnight. Moderate north-east winds predominating; cloudy near the coast and fair or fine inland: moderate temperatures. Further Outlook.—Fair to cloudy.
Weather in Dunedin.—The weather in Dunedin during the week-end was pleasant. On Saturday the sun shone for 6 hours 36 minutes, but a south-west wind kept the temperature at a moderate level. The maximum temperature was 60.3 degrees and .the minimum . was 52.8 degrees. The air was keen yesterday, although 12 hours 30 minutes of sunshine were recorded. The maximum temperature was 59.2 degrees and the minimum 52.7. The barometer was steady yesterday, and at midnight the reading was 30.00 inches.
