Prospects For Today’s Racing
The going will be in good order for the second day of the Wellington Racing Club's meeting. Bonnie Charlie was withdrawn from the Wellington Guineas at 11.25 a.m. yesterday and Eastern Queen from the Trial Stakes at 12.45. Statesman (Awatea Handicap), Jolly Sailor (Watkins Handicap), and Perceptibn (Belmont Handicap) are doubtful starters. The double is on the Watkins and Awatea Handicaps.
