Bank of NSW Payment.—A final dividend of 8s Australian currency a share has been recommended by the Bank of New South Wales, bringing the total payment for the year ended September 30 to 8 per cent, unchanged. For the current final payment New Zealand investors will receive approximately 6s 5d a share. Westland Breweries.—A profit of £18,490 before providing for tax was earned by Westland Breweries, Ltd., in the year ended June 30, 1950, compared with £17,984 in the previous year. The amount brought forward was £16,417 to which is added £162 over-estimate for taxation for the 1948-49 year, making £23,069. Interim dividend of 4 per cent, absorbed £2200, and directors recommend a final dividend of 6 per cent. (£3300), making 10 per cent, 'unchanged), and a carry-forward of £18,469.
