PA AUCKLAND, Oct. 20. Taxi fares in Auckland will be increased after November 8 unless there is a prior appeal. In all cases where more than two passengers are carried the basic fare will then be Is Cd for a journey of not more than a mile, with not more than two passengers. For each passenger over two a flat additional charge of 6d will be made. At present the extra 6d is payable only for each passenger over four.

More than 50,000 collective bargaining agreements are in effect in American business and industry. These written labour-management contracts cover conditions of work and the amounts of wages and salaries.
